Business Training Gets Social

Welcome to the premiere post of The Business Training blog.  This is to launch our new ‘Social Media’ programme where we can connect with you – our students and future students. We’re inviting you to: comment on this blog, become our friend on Facebook, link up on LinkedIn and follow our tweets on Twitter.

But what does this all mean?

Through this wonderful technology we can all take part in one big conversation. No matter where you live – UK, Africa, India, Malaysia, the Caribbean or Australia we can chat, exchange ideas, encourage, educate and help each other.

I’m Susan Metcalfe – Chairman of Business Training. I’m the third generation of my family to head this college so I know all about taking over ‘The Family Business’ and the challenges it presents. I’m passionate about giving you practical training that is value for money, will enhance your abilities and give you skills to help you advance in your career.

I’m lucky to have a trusted and established team working alongside me. Let me introduce them:

Diana Nadin – our Director of Studies – she’s responsible for course development and tuition.

David Pendlebury – our Managing Director – who is in charge of making sure the college runs smoothly.

Stuart Hargreaves – our Finance Director – he keeps tight control of our spending.

Plus, we have our tutors, student advisors, and administrative staff – all working hard on your behalf.

So that’s us. But, what about you? This is a conversation. Tell us about you, your hopes, dreams, ambitions and what you want to get out of your association with Business Training. Leave a comment below or join one of the other media mentioned above.

I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you better.
