"Helping you gain
.control of your career"

Season’s Greetings from Everyone at Business Training!

I know when I write this blog that students from all over the world will be reading it – and that many of you won’t be Christians or celebrating Christmas in the same way that we do here in the UK.

But I would be fascinated to hear how you do celebrating Christmas in your country. Or, what your own favourite celebration is each year if Christmas isn’t part of your tradition.

I visited Japan last month for a holiday and though their ‘official’ religion is Shinto there are also many Buddhist shrines. But, what struck me most was the fact that in all the expensive shops in Tokyo they were already gearing up for Christmas celebrations with huge Christmas trees and decorations.  Even if people don’t believe in the message behind Christmas it’s a great opportunity to buy and receive presents and it gives retailers a chance to increase their profits the world over.

Many of you live in countries where it is warm all year, but here in the UK December is the middle of winter –  it’s cold and the days are short. So we  need a  bit of light, warmth and fun to cheer us up!

But Christmas will be over all too soon and we’ll be into the New Year. And you know what that means…New Year resolutions! So, why not get your thinking caps on a little earlier than usual and start trying to decide how you’re going to improve your life and enjoy yourself more in 2016. With determination and willpower you can make all the difference!

So until next year…
