I found the article on cultural intelligence particularly interesting as here, at Business Training, we deal with students from over 100 different countries. So it’s important that our Student Advisors know how to listen to and assist them without giving offence. Many students do not speak good English when they first join us so it’s important that we try our best to provide the information they need in a clear and helpful way.

Emails do not always help. They are so ‘immediate’ that people don’t always consider whether what they have written is clear and easy to understand before they hit the ‘send’ button. So, if you need to contact us about anything, please check what you’ve written before you send it to us – this will ensure that we can provide the help and advice you really need!
