Business Training Student of The Year

Congratulations to Daniel Peyala from Zambia – the winner of Business Training’s Student of the Year Award.

Once again, we’ve had the privilege of reading all about the achievement of our students. Their determination and ambition never fails to impress us. As with every year, picking the winners has been a really tough decision. But, as I’m sure you’ll agree, this year’s winners truly deserve their awards. And everyone who entered deserves a round of applause. After all, it’s our students’ success that provides us with the high reputation we enjoy as trainers.

“Since taking my course with Business Training I got a job with First Quantum Mining Company as a Track Dozer Operator.

"Business Training taught me the correct procedure to apply when soliciting for a promotion. I was promoted to the position of Field Trainer and Assessor on Heavy Equipment gaining a wage rise.

“I’ve been inspired by the module in my course on How To Start Your Own Business. I will soon start my own business after the company registration process is complete.

“I had just started a small business but lacked business knowledge. However, I then enrolled on my Business English Diploma course and everything changed. I have learned how to manage my time, organise my shop in an orderly manner and appreciate my employee.

“I have also increased sales in my shop due to learning effective communication skills and proper time management. I’ve also learned how to: budget properly, gain self-confidence in business, place orders correctly and apply for a loan. I’ve also learned to speak confidently thanks to the Spoken English part of my course. This has all increased my income tremendously.
